Assalamualaikum :)
~Went for my first class in degree course 2012.. wearing my new baju kurung~ |
Speak in English
Write in English
Think in English
And even dream in English
Can I??
Well, what I could simply say is today's class was kinda blurred to me. Yeah, I admit that I didn't prepare for the class. I didn't read any single thing about the subjects that I was going to learn today. So, it was a bit shame for me and also to my friends since we couldn't respond well to the lecturers' questions, especially during Dr. Annissa's class. She said that it was not a good beginning for all of us. We're lacked of general knowledge and seemed didn't have interest in being an English teacher.
Frankly speaking, I really want to be a teacher but the problem is, English is not my expertise. Actually, I applied for teaching Maths before. Maybe this is a complicated journey that I should go through, and I'm sure Allah knows better than me. I believe everything happens for a reason. :) What I could do is accept the fact and work harder and harder until I am good enough to be called as a TESL teacher. (>,<)
For your information, today I learned 3 subjects: Introduction to Linguistic, Philosophy in Education and Children Development. All of them required 45 hours of contact hour for this semester. I think Children Development will be an interesting subject because it is all related to the children nature, habit and psychology which is my favourite. I really look forward for that!
Okay, I think I should stop here since I got quite many things to do: Presentation about Indo- European Language Family Tree, Search about Linguistic and Create Maps on Development of Education in Malaysia.
With that, wassalam :)
P/s: Noted that I'm fasting today, will have vegetables soup for breaking fast.. Yummy3 delicious :p
